NYRB is for those who prefer to read, and think, critically. This newspaper-like publication covers current events through the lens of book reviews. Staff writers are a rotating cast of top-notch journalists, essayists, and authors, from Darryl Pinckney and Bill McKibben to Francine Prose and Sigrid Nunez. They have regular columns, essays, poetry, critical book reviews and - one of my favorite parts, actually - tons of ads for new book releases from University and nonfiction publishers. A great read itself, and a great way to find your next great read.
