The Point
The Point
A Magazine of Philosophical Essays on Everyday Life and Culture
Tri-Quarterly
Chicago, IL, US
This excellent journal out of Chicago offers a modern, philosophical, humanistic approach to cultural criticism. Each issue contains longform essays, a symposium on a particular topic, and a few ‘reviews’, which are really essays on just about anything. While they do talk about the political landscape at times, this is not a political publication; instead, it is a wide-ranging, philosophical and intellectual discussion about contemporary culture. A thoughtful, readable, absorbing take on this modern world.
Some of you may remember it being on the shelves in the past. I am happy to be able to bring it back!
